a taste of betrayal
left me angry
left me sad
of all ppl
the one i trusted most

the smell keeps coming back
that image keeps floating back
the feeling of
distance
loneliness
unfamilarity
struck me hard
it cant be rid

all the promises disappeared
all the dreams dashed
wat was i to do
my heart numb
my head confused

then today came
sunshine warming
words melting
love staying

lots of uncertainties
lots of assurance
loads of resentment
loads of comfort
full of bitterness
full of sweetness
plenty of disbelief
plenty of promises
